I had another Conceal and Carry order through my Etsy shop about a month ago.  I was so happy with how it turned out that I just had to share it with you.

3 Things to Think About Before Shipping Your Crafts

Hello!

I did some posts on how to brand your business a month or so ago.  There was the Creative Branding Ideas for Your Business post and the DIY Business Card Ideas post.  Well, I've been trying to work on this with my home based busines: Gina's Craft Corner.  My Etsy shop orders have picked up lately and a few weeks ago I had to ship out 2 packages in one week!  Woohoo!  I know, probably sounds pretty pathetic to some of you (LOL!).

5 Great Fall Pillow Tutorials Using Burlap

What says fall more than burlap??  How about burlap pillows!  Not exactly a pillow you would snuggle up with by the fire, but they sure look festive during the months of October and November.

If I had more time I would make pillows to set out for every season!  I just love having a different look in the living room every few months, and pillows are a great way to change things up.  I feed my need for change by simply rearranging the furniture.  (hey-it doesn't cost me anything).  My husband jokes that he never knows what the house will look like when he gets home!  (LOL!!)

I'm Guest Posting on BeBetsy Today!! + GCC Updates

Hello friends!

First off....

I'd love for you to head on over to BeBetsy today to check out my latest Lombard Street Bag.  I think you are going to LOVE the fabric a client chose for this fabulous bag.  Think....GIRAFFES! :)

What I'm working on...

The weather is awesome today here in MO.  The temps will be in the 50's and 60's!  This is my favorite time of of the year.  I'm a cool, rainy weather type of girl.  I think I tend to be more creative in the fall too, which is helpful when I have SO much I want to get done.

I have decided I need to get busy stocking my Etsy Shop for the holidays.  I'm sure lots of you who own shops do that all year long!  I finally had a few sells on my shop recently and now have some money flow!  I decided to  purchased some fabric the other day to make about 10 bags just like the Pretty in Pink Bag I made a while back.  It's simple, no hardware and will be more affordable than most of the bags I make.

My Conceal and Carry Bag on Etsy is getting lots of hits every day, which tells me that there is a demand for my product.  Now I just need to get people to buy it!  I finally sold my Pink Camo CCW Bag, and also had a custom order request.  For the custom order I let the client choose their own fabric and have a lot of dialogue with them in order to make the bag perfect for them.  I'll be posting about that bag soon b/c I REALLY like this one.  The fabric is just gorgeous!  You can get a sneak peak at it on my Facebook Page: Gina's Craft Corner.

When I'm Not Creating...

When I am not creating/sewing I am homeschooling, parenting, cooking and cleaning.  We all have lives beyond our blogs and our crafts, don't we???  We have been in school now for about 3 weeks, and so my sewing has been relegated to the early morning and late-late evening hours.

Love Your Machine and it Will Love You Back, by Guest Blogger Stella from Purfylle

I’m so honored to be guest posting today at Gina's Craft Corner.  I met Gina on a sewing forum and we discussed the quirks of sewing machines.  When she asked if I would like to write a guest post (umm, YES!) I figured machine quirks was a topic that would fit both our blog styles.

I have more sewing machines than I can fit in my sewing room and find myself having to do machine maintenance a lot.  So if your sewing machine has been behaving a little quirky lately and you'd really rather it wouldn't, these tips might help.
