One of my favorite things to do in the fall is take fall photos of my family. I've always loved snapping photos of my kids running and jumping in the leaves. What is it about a pile of leaves that brings out the kid in all of us?
There is a park close to our house that always looks so pretty in the fall and it has been a great place to snap some family photos. As I finished up my latest purse, I grabbed my 1/2 pint photographer and headed out to the park to take advantage of some of the Lord's fall beauty.
This purse was for a client who wanted me to make her a concealed carry purse with a matching wallet. The wallet is the Necessary Clutch, designed by Emmaline Bags. I ended up having to alter the flap accent a bit this time, as the fabric was giving me trouble. Honestly, I can't even tell you what I did! Wow! I just made this at the beginning of the week and I've already forgotten?! I am coming up on 40. Ugh... Is this what happens to your memory at 40.
I have used this fabric before, the dots with the smudged look, and I have to admit that I did not like it in pink. I am loving this gray, however. I have been experimenting more with using outdoor fabric, and that is exactly what the entire purse is made out of. Even the lining is an outdoor fabric.
Have you noticed that aqua is everywhere! I thought my clients would be leaning more toward the browns and blacks for fall, but that is not the case. These are just a few of my most recent custom orders this fall.
Thanks for stopping by! If your interested in a concealed carry purse by Christmas you had better stop by my Etsy store soon. I'm pretty booked up (praise the Lord!), but I do have about two slots left before I stop taking custom orders for the year.
