Free Bag Patterns and Craftsy Class Giveaway
Welcome friends! Are you ready to enter for a chance to win a free class from the awesome CRAFTSY?!! If you do not know what Craftsy is all about, just click on the link and you can learn all about them. All you need to know is that they are allowing little 'ol me to host a giveaway of any class of my choosing. Well, that was an easy one! Loving bags so much, I had to offer you the class, DESIGN YOUR OWN HANDBAG. I have taken this class and I can personally vouch for how wonderful it is. Brett Bara is such a good instructor and is so talented. I really think you will enjoy the class!

While you are waiting to see if you win a free Craftsy class, why not dive right in and try to make some of the bags I'm featuring here today. These are free patterns, yes FREE!! I love anything free, but especially free bag patterns and great tutorials to go with them. I thought all of these looked pretty easy for beginners and great for Spring and Summer!
I am loving this Eater Bag because it would be a great '1st' bag for someone to try. In Pam's tutorial you will learn the following:
*How to applique (great step-by-step instruction)
*How to make a lining
*How to add interfacing to outer fabric
*How to add handles
*How to box the corners
This bag is just begging for summer to get here! Isn't it cute? I love the mesh idea. I do not live near a 'real' beach, but we do have a little sand in front of a small lake (well the city folk call it a lake, but come on people...it's a pond!)
Irene has a great tutorial on how to make this Market bag. She actually upcycled some sheets to make this bag! I always need more market bags, as I do most of my shopping at Aldi. If you have not checked out Irene's blog, you should. She has lots of great FREE sewing patterns and she's a refashionista!
Before you leave, don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
Blessings,
Gina
