The final pin in our pennanular pin seriesIn the 1870s, "Tara brooch" had become a generic term for Celtic Revival brooches. Today they have devolved from the pennaular and pseudo pennanular brooch into a stylised version where the pin is all of one piece. They are a popular item with tourists.
