My New Locking Concealed Carry Purse and Valentine's Day Sale!!

I'm also so excited to offer a new feature on my purses.....

a LOCKING ZIPPER!!  YAY!!   

It took me a while to get on board with the locking zipper.  Not because I don't think they are a good idea.  I think they are a wonderful idea, especially if you are a mom or anyone who is around children.    If you carry, you probably already know that there are some controversies over whether or not a locking zipper is a good idea or not.  I leave the research and final decision up to you.  Just know that at my shop you have either option. 

From a sewing perspective, I was nervous about the installation.  However, it turned out to be pretty easy.  All you need to buy are some zippers by the yard and then locate a company who sells locking pulls.  In just a few seconds, (or hours if you you are putting the pull on wrong), you will have the lock on and then you can just sew like normal.  Actually, I got the first one on really quick a month ago.  Then, when I tried to get the other one on when I was making the purse, it took quite a bit of struggling from both me and my husband.  Finally, my husband figured out that we were trying to get it on from the wrong side!  Ugh!  So, I think I'll make a quick tutorial if any of you are interested in ever changing out your pulls.  It doesn't have to be a locking pull.  Maybe you just want to add a fun handmade pull.  

This is also my first concealed carry purse made in black with gold hardware.  I love the gold on black!  Don't you?  Very classy.

I've also came up with a new slogan for my business.  (Actually, my husband came up with it.)  I often hear from my customers that they are so delighted that the pocket is truly concealed from view.  Thus, the slogan..........Wait for it..............

Another special feature about this purse is that the outside and inside are both outdoor fabric.  That means, it has already been treated to resist stains and fading!  Love that!
