Laptop AND iPad Bag in Fun Summer Colors

Yes, it is another Kennedy Bag!  I just love this pattern by Sarah Lawson from Sew Sweetness.  It is actually a free pattern she offers, so check it out!  I always feel so satisfied when I am finished with one of these bags.  The buckles still frustrate me a bit, but it is all worth it!

I love the look of the fabric on this bag.  It is a home decor fabric from JoAnn's Hobby Lobby.  I think the gray is a bottomweight fabric and it feels kind of smooth and almost silky.  I love it!

Aren't polka dots so much fun?!  I don't think you can ever outgrow polka dots.

 I think this is the first time I have actually put in the side buckles for this bag, exactly like the pattern says.  OH-and look at this cute metal bag label that says, "handmade".  I got this from Janelle at Emmaline Bags!   She has other label that say, "handmade-Made in the USA"!  I really wanted one, but I decided to go with the least expensive label since it's something I really don't HAVE to have.  I just wanted to try them just once.

 It's just one more touch that makes the bag look a little less 'home' made, and little more "ooh la la".

 I'm still amazed that this bag can hold an iPad AND a laptop!  I did add two extra layers of fusible fleece to the inside zipper pocket in order to give the iPad some added protection.

I finally added a key holder!  This really is a must for any bag.  I don't know anyone that does not have problems locating their keys in their purse.

I had to come back into this post and add this picture (7/21/14)!  It's the best part of the bag.  I saw a bag recently loaded with purse feet and I just thought it looked SO cute.  The polka dots lined up perfectly to try it out on this bag.  Do you like it?  I LOVE it!!  I wish I could have gotten a better picture.
