Blue Jean and Chevron Wristlet
If you are dropping over from Diana Rambles, where I have the pleasure of guest posting today, welcome!! I'm so glad you decided to drop on over to check out my Blue Jean and Chevron Wristlet. If you have no idea what I am talking about, you need to hop on over to Diana Rambles so you can see the little bag my sweet girl is holding in the photo below!
I finally had some free time to play around with some recycled blue jean fabric (one of my favorite things to do!). With the 4th coming up in a couple of days I had the urge to make something patriotic.
This bag is very basic, so you could whip this purse up in an afternoon. I am sorry I did not make this a tutorial, but while I was making it I did not have a camera!
This bag actually started with me trying to make this fabric look torn. It's pretty easy, but time consuming. The torn look is so in right now that I thought it might look really neat on a bag.
I was so glad that I had enough of this red and white chevron fabric left over from my Chevron Crossobody. I just love it paired up with the blue jean fabric.
I inserted a magnetic snap for the tab closure, If you want to try to insert a snap into your next bag you can read my tutorial on how to do that HERE. It is so easy!!
Don't forget to head on over to Diana Rambles to check out my daughter's bag! Hers is a crossbody for tweens. I know you will love it!
Happy 4th of July!! Be safe!!
Blessings,
Gina
