Upcycled Dryer Sheets
Are you tired of throwing out all those dryer sheets? Are you thinking, "What kind of craft can I do with these?" Well, I have a very good use for them. Why not put them on a handmade greeting card.
Materials Needed: Card stock, pressed flowers, craft glue and craft paper for the background. That's it!
It adds just the perfect texture for any background AND the cards smell great!
To get the dryer sheets nice and flat, I press them in a book for a while. After being pressed they are nice and flat and easier to work with.
If you have never pressed flowers before, it is so much fun. It's also a great craft for a child. My girls LOVE to pick a flower and throw it in a book. It's a very rewarding craft!
I will detail how to press flowers in another post.
You can also purchase pressed flowers from a number of resources. I pressed the ones in the above card, but for most of my jewelry and framed art I now use purchased flowers. If you are interested in purchasing pressed flowers here are my two favorite sources...
