Fun for Kids- Veggie Can Robots
My daughter came home one day from an art class with a cute robot made from a vegetable can. Since then both of my daughters have been continuously adding to the Robot Can family. This is a great activity for kids for rainy days or the 100 degree days that many of us are experiencing right now!
All you need to do is gather some cans, a hot glue gun, any small trinkets, buttons, pipe cleaners, fabric scraps (for clothing) and set it before the kids. Screws, washers, tubing, etc.. also work great. This is such a great project for the children to really be creative.

Here is our robot family! My girls have named them..
Sally
Jump Rope Girl
Falda
Mrs. Pea Can
Mystery Girl
Also, the inside of the can may seem sharp, so you can glue a piece of felt around the inside edge to protect there little hands if they want to use them as puppets.
Have fun creating with your little ones! :)
Blessings,
Gina
