Couture Fold-Over Bag Contribution for American Girl GIVEAWAY!

I am so excited to be co-hosting another American Girl Doll Giveaway with Diana Rambles and so many other great women!  If you have not heard, Diana Rambles has put together another giveaway with an amazing collection of handcrafted clothes and accessories for your 18" doll to last her an entire year.

My first contribution to the giveaway is this little bag made from black vinyl and a red and white cotton chevron.  I am in LOVE with fold over bags.  I just think they are so cute!

I came up with this design on my own.  I'll have to make a tutorial for you if I remember how I did it! (LOL). I REALLY want to make one to sell in my Etsy Shop.

It is basically just a long rectangle.  I was going to be all clever and put straps on it too so the doll could also carry it on her shoulder, but I forgot that part.

I did add some Velcro to keep her items enclosed inside. 

Sewing on vinyl was not difficult.  My basic Kenmore had no trouble with it at all.
